Hypnotherapy & Depth Hypnosis

Many think of popular images of hypnosis in the media when they hear hypnotherapy. The method I practice is very different from that, and looks and feels more like a deep state of relaxation and inner reflection. I am a Certified Depth Hypnosis Practitioner and an active member of the Association of Depth Hypnosis Practitioners. Depth Hypnosis is a methodology developed by Isa Gucciardi, Ph.D., at the Foundation of the Sacred Stream. It combines elements of transpersonal psychology, Buddhist psychology, and shamanism to allow a client to access and activate their own inherent healing capacities.

In my practice I use hypnotherapy primarily in two modes: suggestion hypnosis and regression hypnosis. With suggestion hypnosis we talk about places in your life you would like extra support or a shift in your experience, and then we co-create the suggestions together. This suggestion session is then recorded for you to listen to as much as you like outside of session for additional support. For regression work, we pick an issue you have been struggling with for a period of time and then we explore where in your history that might originate. Through the regression I guide you to reorganize your internal relationship with the issue, healing the emotional trauma or wounding.
